Colour Me Green is organized by a team of volunteer coordinators and an Executive Director who collaborate with partners in the host community to create a vibrant colour run experience.
As Executive Director, Aaryn Lynham coordinates communications, sponsorship, participant newsletters and the costume contest. She is the link between 4-H Alberta, the Colour Me Green planning team and community partners in the host location.
Aaryn was a member of 4-H Alberta for 10 years in the Horsemanship and Judging projects. She was an Ambassador for the East Central Region and a Key Member for the Stettler District. Aaryn is currently studying at Mount Royal University for a Bachelor of Communications, major in Public Relations and will complete an International Communications certification, studying abroad in Australia in 2020.
The Volunteer Coordinators, Isabell Stamm and Brennan Munro, are responsible for soliciting, managing and being in contact with volunteers and community partners for Colour Me Green.
Isabell has been involved with 4-H Alberta her entire life, beginning as the little sister who tagged along to meetings and shows. She is currently an Ambassador for the West Central Region and sits on her District and Regional councils. Isabell is studying at the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus for pre-veterinary courses and is a member of the Crestomere Multiclub in a beef project.
Brennan is currently a 4-H Alberta Ambassador for the Calgary region and is the 2015 Premier’s Award recipient. She grew up on a ranch east of Airdrie, but is living in Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta to study for a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
Route Development Coordinators
The Route Development Coordinators, Delanie Knull and Emma Van Loon, are responsible for working with the hosting municipality and community partners to propose, develop and set up the Colour Me Green event route.
Delanie is an Agribusiness student studying at the University of Alberta. She is currently in her 10th year of 4-H, in a beef project. Delanie was a Key Member for the Rockyview District, serving a two-year term and is a current 4-H Alberta Ambassador for the Calgary Region.
Emma is an Agribusiness student at Olds College studying for a diploma in Agricultural Management, majoring in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Agribusiness. Originally from Tiger Lily, Alberta, she grew up on a feedlot. She was a member of the T&M 4-H Club for 12 years in the beef and horse projects. Emma has been a Leader for two years with T&M 4-H Club.
Event Materials Coordinator
The Event Materials Coordinator, Lisa Jakobsen, is responsible for connecting with vendors, ordering supplies and arranging transportation for all materials to the Colour Me Green event location.
Lisa was a member of 4-H Alberta for 10 years in the Mountain View 4-H Dairy Club and the Cremona 4-H Club in the dairy heifer and baking projects. She worked as a Regional 4-H Assistant for the Northwest Region in 2015 and is currently finishing a degree of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. Lisa will complete an after-degree program in Nursing at the University of Alberta in Fall 2017.
